getting here

you can see 'PUBLIC' in kings square on one day only: sat 17 june 2023

kings square is a large open space in gloucester – gl1 1rp. it's really close to gloucester transport hub (~0.2 miles along flat streets), so it's easy to get to by bus or train

money

the whole event is completely free. you don't need to book a ticket – just turn up & watch

access

there will be an accessible viewing area for wheelchair users. this will be a designated space close to the main performance area (although you won't necessarily be able to see absolutely everything as the performers will be moving through the audience and using the entire kings square space).

places in the accessible viewing area will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. if you have any questions, please contact us: info@strikealightfestival.org.uk

kings square is mostly flat, with ramp access where needed

there are accessible parking options available in kings walk car park – there are lifts down from the car park to kings square

other useful things to know

there are toilets available in kings walk shopping centre. the toilet cubicles and baby changing room have a 20p charge either coin or contactless payment. there is a disabled room (users will need a RADAR). there is a fully equipped Changing Places room with shower facilities. there is also a free water fountain to refill bottles

the music will change in volume and tempo throughout the performance. there is likely to be a large crowd at this event, so it may be loud
